Looking into the Future with Ion Magazine and Little Burgundy

by Sabrina Maddeaux on Oct 4th, 2010 in Events

Last week Ion Magazine and Little Burgundy teamed up to throw the “Welcome to the Future” event celebrating the launch of Little Burgundy’s F/W 2010 magazine at the Show & Tell Gallery. The night was full of fab shoes, beautiful artwork by Dan Bergeron, delicious desserts, and some good old fashioned fortune-telling!

Guests were greeted with copies of the new “Future” issue wrapped in futuristic silver wrapping. Not only did it look great on the outside, I have to say there are definitely some worthwhile reads in the magazine. Of course there are pages filled with the latest footwear trends (shoe lovers- you DON’T want to miss this one)… this I expected. But I was even more pleased to see that the team of contributors generated some really interesting original content.

Between the covers you’ll find a feature on House of Harlow, an interview with Team Macho, and even a DIY paper fortune teller and guide to learning the moonwalk in five easy steps! The magazine is fashion-filled, quirky, and put together with a refreshing sense of humour and wit.

Looks like Ion Magazine and Little Burgundy have a great future with this one!
